Pieta - Year 1974

This very nice Pieta, depicting the Virgin Mary holding Christ's body after his death, is signed by Italian Artist Arnaldo Giannelli (A. Giannelli). It is an off-white alabaster sculpture mounted on a marble base. It was purchased in Rome, Italy in the summer of 1974. It is excellent condition and measures 9" height x 7" wide x 3-1/2" deep.
