19th Century weight driven wall clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company. Made sometime during the mid to late 1800s. Mechanical parts are made of brass and the case appears to be walnut veneer. The glass on the front has a painted riverboat scene. The clock is in excellent working condition and has been used almost continually up to the present time. It strikes on the hour and generally loses two or three minutes per day. Appearance wise it is in overall good condition. The clock face has some small areas of paint missing and the riverboat scene has approximately 30% of the paint missing. There is a very small area of veneer missing on the bottom left hand corner of the case. Considering its age, this clock has been well maintained. It measures 26" high x 15-5/8" wide x 4-1/8" deep.
